T-14 Armata, a Russian Tank of Destruction that Made Britain worried

British military intelligence issued a warning regarding a tank super being developed by Russia.

An internal report written by a senior intelligence officer raised doubts about the British army's ability to compensate for the latest Russian tank, Armata. The report also criticized the British government's decision to launch its super tank within the next 20 years. "Without exaggeration, Armata tank represented the most revolutionary step of tank design in the last 50 years," reads the notes obtained by The Sunday Telegraph daily.

The note added that the Armata tank is very light, fast and more undetectable radar than similar tanks made in Western countries. "For the first time, an automatic and digital tank is equipped with an unmanned tower, and for the first time also the beginning of the tank is inside the armed capsule in the front of the bow," the report added. The report says, Britain has fallen far behind in the tank technology race among the major powers.

Because, Britain is too focused on developing tanks that are resistant to homemade bomb attacks planted on the streets of Afghanistan and Iraq. The report also highlights that the Russian army continues to add personnel as Western countries, including Britain, cut off its military personnel due to budgetary problems. Furthermore, the report says Russia already has 2,500 tanks with 12,500 tank reserves.

In addition, Russia also plans to build 120 Armata tank units a year starting 2018. With this number, the Russian tank fleet amounted to 35 times greater than the UK. Experts believe the Russian tank fleet could crush Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in just the first 60 hours in the event of an invasion.
