American Submarine Video Through the Artic Ocean

American Submarine Video Through the Artic Ocean. In order to advance scientific research in the Arctic region, as well as test the ability of submarines, the US Navy sends two USS Hartford submarines (SSN 768) to break through the coolness of Artic's oceanic ice.

The San Diego-based Navy's Arctic Submarine Laboratory serves as the premier organization for coordination, planning and implementation of exercises involving two submarines, involving several countries and more than 200 participants.

And here is a USS Hartford submarine video that broke sea ice at the pole to surface at Temporary Training Camp, Sargo, during ICEX 2016 training week. This exercise starts March 2nd and ends in early April 2016.
