This is what happens if the outbreak of US-North Korea War

North Korean government statement 'ready for war' with the United States spelled out "desperate". Although not just this time the statement came out. Already many times North Korea warned the US to stop its nuclear program. But again and again, the communist country is propagating the progress of its nuclear program.

The problem is that the current US-led President Donald Trump, also known as a "crazy", case of an attack on Syria for example, needs less than two days of consideration since the incident of civilian attack by a Syrian government regime accused of using sarin gas. Even without consultation with the US Congress as usual.

It is said that Trump's decision to attack Syria one of them triggered the attitude of his daughter, Ivanka Trump, who is sad to see images of sarin gas victims who are partly children.

In the case of North Korea, Trump seems to have lost patience. This is certainly feared by many countries, because if "crazy" met "desperate", the war on the Korean peninsula seems only a matter of time. Groups of attackers, including the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, has been driven to the Korean Peninsula since Saturday (8/4).

Then, what would happen if the Korean War between the US and North Korea really erupted?

It's hard to predict which one will attack first. Technically, the US or North Korea are equally likely to attack first without any warning.

The UN Charter article 51 states that an attack on a country can be done in self-defense. But what does North Korea care about the UN? Already a variety of UN sanctions imposed for the famous land closed.

UN sanctions against North Korea since 2013:

  • March 2013 sanctions imposed after North Korea's nuclear test 2013
  • March 2016 further sanctions imposed included the examination of all cargoes from and to North Korea, the prohibition of all arms trade with other countries, additional restrictions on imports of luxury goods from North Korea, and the expulsion of North Korean diplomats suspected of forbidden activities
  • November 2016 UN Security Council strengthens sanctions to respond to September 2016 nuclear test
If North Korea starts the offensive, according to predictions the US military site The Mighty might cause significant initial damage on the US side.

Citing retired general James Marks, as reported by metro.co.uk is expected Pyongyang will win the initial battle for a maximum of four days.

North Korea is unlikely to attack the demilitarized zone (DMZ) that exists between South Korea (US allies) and North Korea.

But the North Korean military may prefer to attack with artillery and rockets from areas on the northern slopes of Og mountain that live across to the border between North Korea and South Korea.

Around 10,000 rockets may target the capital of South Korea Seoul which is about 35 miles or 56 kilometers more. But the artillery position will be difficult because anti-aircraft guns will first dispel them.

North Korea can also attack with army troops transported by submarine, and can also mobilize thousands of sleeper 'agents (sleeping soldiers) who have been already in the territory of South Korea.

Although North Korea has a larger army (3.5 million - 5 million) than its neighbors South Korea with 50 times less GDP, North Korea's budget in defense and military technology is much less.

As a result, many experts believe North Korea will use conventional military means such as the use of chemical weapons or nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile, the United States will soon deploy a military strike force from the air, the United States will pound North Korean artillery troops with more sophisticated missiles, and North Korean soldiers will be able to drown.

Air strikes will also cut the main supply routes of the North Korean military as well as shut down sites suspected of storing nuclear weapons.

However, it will be a different story if North Korea nuclear really launched.

What will happen if North Korea issues nuclear weapons?

Although North Korea has so far claimed that nuclear development aims to advance the space program, it is widely believed that Kim Jong-un's regime is developing nuclear weapons.

North Korea is estimated to have nuclear warheads, but the number is estimated to be no more than 10. In March 2016, Kim Jong-Un announced that his country had developed a small enough nuclear warhead enough to be carried by a missile.

In terms of rocket launches, it is difficult to guess how far Pyongyang has the capabilities of today. For example, North Korea has shown that they can fire inter-continental ballistic missiles into space, but skirt launches
